In Wien: wurde ich als 1. Sportler nach meinem Tod im Wr. Stephansdom aufgebart. Ich wurde in meinem Rennanzug beerdigt. 

Zur Person: Der Motorsport war jeher meine Passion und immer Teil meines Lebens. Mit 15 kaufte ich mir mein 1. Auto. Ich war zielstrebig, direkt, ausdauernd und hatte einen trockenen Humor. Ich war 3x Formel 1 Weltmeister und gründete 2 Fluglinien (Lauda Air & LaudaMotion). 

Wussten Sie: Mein Markenzeichen, das Kapperl, trug ich seit meinem Unfall am Nürburgring 1976, damit man die Ver- brennungen nicht so stark sah.

In Vienna: I was the 1st athlete, who was laid out at the St. Stephen's Cathedral, so that everyone could say Good Bye. I was buried in my race suit.

About me: Motorsport has always been my passion. I bought my first car when I was 15. I was ambitious, direct, persistent and had a dry sense of humor. I was 3 times world champion in Formula 1 and founded 2 airlines (Lauda Air and LaudaMotion).

Fun Fact: I wore my trademark, the cap, since my accident at the Nürburgring in 1976, so that the burns are not so visible.
